Snapchat was facing some technical issues across the United States and Europe on Wednesday. So, many users stated that they had trouble using the application.
As indicated by DownDetector, issue reports increased at around 10:30 a.m. ET with almost 90,000 users reporting issues; 82% said they were facing some problems when they try to send Snaps. Also, the messages are disappearing. That happened after a previous slight increase in the issues delivered to DownDetector after nine hours on Wednesday.
Some of the application users also stated they couldn’t even log into the app, and they tweeted about this on Twitter angrily during the COVID-19 isolation thing. In the U.S., the hashtag “#snapchatdown” spotted the No. 1 trend on Twitter on Wednesday.
Snapchat’s support account on Twitter acknowledged the issues on Twitter, they stated:
We’re aware many Snapchatters are having trouble using the app. Hang tight – we’re looking into it 🛠️
