Within 5 months of preliminary launch, Disney Plus has signed up 50 million paid subscribers worldwide, the media firm stated.
In the previous two weeks, Disney Plus launched in eight Western European counties together with the U.Ok., Ireland, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Austria and Switzerland. In addition, the streaming service became available in India on March 11 in a limited beta, together with the present Hotstar service. Disney Plus formally launched April three in India, which already accounts for about eight million of Disney Plus’ 50 million paid subscribers.

The Mouse House beforehand had stated it wouldn’t launch Disney Plus figures outdoors of its quarterly monetary stories.
