June 2-3, Watervliet, N.Y. St. Peter Armenian Church community in Watervliet, New York (upstate outside of Albany) holds a two-day Festival filled with delicious and traditional Armenian food, desserts, children's activities, tavloo tournament, music, dancing, entertainment, and more. From noon to 7 PM on June 2 and noon to 5 PM o June 3. $5 - 50/50 Raffle Tickets, as well as a Mega Bucks raffle (300 tickets only at $25 each) for cash prizes are available. June 3, noon-5 PM, Fair Lawn, N.J. St. Leon Church hosts its annual picnic on church grounds. Enjoy Armenian food and live music with Dick Barsamian - Oud, Harold Hagopian - Clarinet, Ara Dinkjian - Keyboard, Chuck Yegian - Dumbeg. For info call the church office 201- 791-2862. Free admission.

June 6, 7 PM, New York City.  Armenia Tree Project (ATP) and the Acopian Center for the Environment (ACE) will jointly support a new environmental project in Margahovit Village, in Armenia's Lori region, and will hold a fundraising event titled "Regardening of Eden," at Hotel Chantelle (92 Ludlow Street  New York, NY 10002). Tickets are $75 in advance and $100 at the door, and complimentary tapas and cocktails will be served. All of the ticket proceeds will be allocated to the project and are tax deductible to the full extent permitted by law. June 7, 9, 14, 21, New York City.  St. Illuminator's Armenian Day School Open House for the 2012-13 School Year will take place on Thursday, June 7, 6:30-8:30 pm, Saturday, June 9, 11:30 am-2:00 pm, Thursday, June 14, 6:30-8:30 pm, and Thursday, June 21, 6:30-8:30 pm. June 9-10, New York City. The Armenian Students' Association (ASA) holds the 62nd annual Artists' Ball at ACA Galleries located at 529 West 20th Street in Manhattan's world-renowned art district Chelsea. Patrons of the upcoming Artists' Ball will be treated to the works of a highly talented and prolific pool of 23 artists from all over the world, including Kamee Abrahamian, Nishan Akgulian, Eliz Alahverdian, Seth Alexander, Steve Altan, Virginia Arakelian, Gagik Aroutiunian, Nerses Chorekchyan, Eric Hairabedian, Hakob Hakobyan, Aram Kailian, Ara Kantardjian, Eileen Karakashian, Tanya Kechichian, Kevork Mourad, Rudik Petrosyan, Alina Poroshina, Simon Samsonian, Serli, Khach Turabian, Christina Vandian, Tigran Vardanian and Roubina Vartan. The Children of Armenia Fund will hold a Summer Soiree at Dream Hotel penthouse at 355 West 16th Street (between 8th and 9th ave.) in downtown Manhattan will all proceeds benefiting programs in rural Armenia. June 16, noon-7 PM, New Rochelle, N.Y.  Annual picnic on the scenic and spacious grounds of St. Nersess Armenian Seminary (150 Stratton Road  New Rochelle, NY 10804 Tel: (914) 636-2003) featuring Armenian food -- including luleh and chicken kebob meals, lahmajoun, paklava -- music with the John Berberian Ensemble, children's activities, an Attic Treasures sale, Baykar the Armenian Vendor, children's author Talene Dadian White, and more! $50 Super Raffle tickets with a chance to win three great cash prizes. July 20-21, New York City. Generations of alumni from AGBU's New York Summer Internship Program (NYSIP) will reunite to celebrate the program's 25th anniversary at a special gala evening.  The AGBU NYSIP founded by Vartkess† and Rita Balian has since produced 800 alumni and expanded to Paris (2003), Yerevan (2007) and Moscow (2010). The celebration's venue is Battery Gardens, which sits on the New York Harbor with iconic views of the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. On Friday, July 20, the AGBU Young Professionals of Greater New York will co-host an evening mixer. Tickets for the Saturday gala are now on sale for $175 and tickets for the mixer are available for $25. Both can be purchased via http://agbuinternship25thanniversary.eventbrite.com/, where information about accommodations at the W Hotel - Union Square is also available.

June 2, 7 PM, Providence, RI. The Cultural Committee of Sts. Sahag and Mesrob Church of Providence, RI, host the 18th Annual Children's Talent Show "Reflections of Armenian Youth." The event will be held in the church's Egavian Cultural Center at 70 Jefferson St. Providence, RI.
