COAF "A Night of Brilliance"

As Manushak's success shows, the enrichment of village students' educational experience goes far beyond the classroom. Students have a new confidence; they are stepping up, taking responsibility for many aspects of their school experience, organizing student councils, ensuring that their newly refurbished facilities are well maintained and discussing issues that may not usually be raised in traditional village society (like the status of women and the limitations of traditional gender roles). They are participating in regional, national, and international events in a variety of areas (including debate, math, and citizenship) and like Manushak, they are winning, uniting their communities with pride and providing significant incentive for continued hard work.

COAF's seventh annual gala is scheduled for fall 2010.
