Vartan Oskanian: Time to take stock

May 08, 2009: Taking stock of the Turkish-Armenian dialogue now underway, Vartan Oskanian, who served for 10 years as Armenia's foreign minister, finds, "Armenia has been involved in a process that it no longer controls and on which it has no leverage." He is most concerned that the "process is that it is being coupled to the Karabakh conflict." But he believes it is still possible to "take steps to correct" the situation.  more...
