April 27, 7 PM, New York City. The Armenian National Committee (ANC) of New York will host an event on the 97th anniversary of the Armenian genocide at St. Illuminator’s Cathedral (221 E. 27th Str.). The evening will feature Mourad Papazian, Chairman of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF) of France, as the keynote speaker, and Archbishop Oshagan Choloyan, Prelate of the Armenian Apostolic Church of America (Eastern United States), who will address the community and give the invocation. The commemoration will also include performances by renowned soprano, Anoush Barclay, who will sing the U.S. and Armenian national anthems; the St. Illuminator’s Huyser Music Ensemble; and distinguished violinist, Cecee Pantikian.
