Paris - Armenians and Turks from France met in a spirit of unity under the slogan of the Collective Biz Myassine (Us together, in Turkish and Armenian) in front of the Armenian memorial in Paris for a joint commemoration of Armenian genocide on April 10.

The official statement of the Collective, signed by writer Denis Donikian and Michel Atalay of the Green political party (Les Verts en France), pledges "to perpetuate the forgiveness campaign initiated by four Turkish intellectuals in late 2008 [and the] bridges built between the Armenian and Turkish civil societies."

Biz Myassine first came together in April 2007 and have since held annual commemorations.
