Shanghai World Expo to host Armenia Day

Shanghai, China - The Armenian community of China will witness a very special Armenian Independence Day this coming September 21, 2010. That day will be officially Armenia's day at the Shanghai World Expo.
For this historic occasion, a 90-person delegation from Armenia will be in Shanghai including many artistic celebrities such as Djivan Gasparian and the Armenian Navy Band. There will be performances at the Expo that day from 10am to 9pm.
The Armenian Community of China, commonly known as ChinaHay, will be organizing the evening dinner and after party with more than 200 Armenians, probably the largest number of Armenian at the same place on Chinese soil in recent years.
The Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to China, Mr. Armen Sargsyan, has invited all Armenians, from all the corners of the globe, to join us to celebrate this historical day.

The Shanghai world exhibition will run until October 31. Armenia's exhibit "City of the World", as well as a number of innovative technologies and new art are being presented to the world community under the motto "New World, New Technologies, New Art".
