India's Armenian college enrolls new students

On 24th February 2010, eight youngsters arrived in Kolkata, India, from Armenia to join Armenian College and Philanthropic Academy which is under the aegis of Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin.

These students will receive education in the Armenian tradition, gain knowledge and become worthy descendants to their ancestors.

A group of students from Iran and Iraq is expected to join the institution after the summer vacation of 2010.

The Armenian Church ensures an excellent Secondary Education to all the students of Armenian College. The Church eagerly sponsors Armenian students who wish to pursue higher education from reputed colleges, and also those who prefer to specialize in vocational training.
