Washington - A visit of Prime Minister Tigran Sarkisian to the United States is in the works, Armenia's Ministry of Economy revealed in a statement on September 11.

Specific dates for the visit have not yet been made public, but Mr. Sarkisian's visit last year was timed to coincide with board meetings of the World Bank and International Monetary Fund that are held in Washington every year. This year's meetings are planned on October 6 and 7.

The visit is also likely to include the regular meeting of the bilateral U.S.-Armenia Task Force on economic issues.
