Haik Gazarian’s Venezzia will have its U.S. premier at the Arpa International Film Festival in October.

Glendale, Calif. - The Arpa Foundation for Film, Music, and Art will host an industry networking event on Thursday, August 27 at 7 p.m. Actors, musicians, filmmakers, and AFFMA patrons will have the opportunity to meet and mingle at Katsuya, located at the Americana (701 Americana Way, Glendale).

The foundation will be hosting the 12th annual Arpa International Film Festival Friday, October 23, to Sunday, October 25, at the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood.

The festival program includes the U.S. premier of Haik Gazarian's Venezzia, starring two of Latin America's great stars, Alfonso Herrera and Ruddy Rodriguez.

More than 50 feature films, shorts, documentaries, music videos, and animations will be screened during the festival, including films from Armenia, Turkey, France, Iran, Spain, Lebanon, England, Israel, Palestine, and Germany.

Films by such organizations as Armenian Educational Foundation will be featured along side films starring Olympia Dukakis (Hove by Alex Webb) and Sting (Battle for Xingu).
