During the opening ceremonies Armenia's Prime Minister Tigran Sarkisian said that he hoped that bridges would be built between the business circles of NKR and the Armenian diaspora. The prime minister emphasized the importance of this forum, which served as an opportunity for business people from around the world to become acquainted with the economic situation and investment opportunities in NKR, placing special importance on manufacturing, agriculture and the tourism sector. According to Arminfo, the prime minister expressed regret that more than 90 percent of Armenia's population has never visited NKR.
