From Armenia in brief: Armenian students to take part in biology Olympiad in Japan for the first time ever

Yerevan - Four Armenian schoolchildren will be taking part in the international biology Olympiad in Japan for the first time ever. The Olympiad will take place mid-July.

Nurijan Manoukian of the Education Ministry told Armenpress that six students from Armenia will also be taking part in the math Olympiad in Germany; three students in the physics Olympiad in Mexico; four students in the chemistry and informatics Olympiads in England and Bulgaria respectively.

In international Olympiads last year, Armenian students brought home one silver and one bronze from the Informatics Olympiad; one silver and bronze from chemistry and astrology; and four special certificates from math.
