From Armenia in brief: Microsoft conducts Safe Internet Day for students

Yerevan - Microsoft's representative office in Yerevan conducted a Safe Internet Day at the Yerevan School of Physics and Mathematics.

Director of Microsoft in Armenia Grigor Barseghyan told reporters that this year Armenia joined the European Safer Internet Network initiative to protect children and young adults against threats that the Internet might pose for the younger generation.

According to Armenpress, Microsoft and the Center for Media Education are designing a Safe Internet-Armenia program for secondary schools with the objective of familiarizing children with the rules of safe and efficient use of the Internet.
