From Armenia in brief: Changes at Radio Liberty

Aghassi Yenokyan. Photolure. According to our sources, Aghassi Yenokyan has been selected as the new Yerevan Bureau Chief of Radio Liberty. (The station management in Prague did not immediately respond to our request for official confirmation.) Mr. Yenokyan, a well-known figure in the radical opposition in Armenia, ran for parliament on the Impeachment Bloc ticket during the 2007 National Assembly elections, and is an active member of the Armenian National Congress created by Levon Ter-Petrossian.
