From Armenia in brief: CARD helps showcase traditional Armenian dishes

The Center for Agribusiness and Rural Development (CARD) held what has now become an annual presentation of over 500 traditional Armenian dishes. According to Armenpress, Anna Karapetian, CARD's program coordinator, said that the objective of this presentation is to restore and maintain traditional Armenian dishes. She said that most of the dishes were prepared by old recipes, handed down from mother to daughter.

U.S. Chargé d'Affaires Joseph Pennington said that this program involved over 100 communities throughout Armenia and it also provided young people an opportunity to participate and make new friends.
