Kasbarian's book for children gets Nautilus award

Kay Mouradian tells her mother's survival story in book, documentary

My Mother’s Voice, an updated book (2013 Edition) and new documentary, tell the moving story of Flora Munushian’s teenage years, and are written and produced by her daughter Kay Mouradian. From 1914-1919, Flora traveled from Hadjin, Turkey to Aleppo, Syria then ultimately to the United States, a survivor of the Armenian Genocide.

The Armenian Students' Association, Inc. (ASA Inc.) congratulated Shahe Mankerian of Pasadena, CA, Sarah Abigail Stites of Grove City College in Reston, VA, and Rachel Megan Maclean of Northside High School in Roanoke, VA who were the winners of the 2012 "Arthur Halvajian Memorial" Armenian Poetry Competition. The competition was sponsored by the ASA Inc. in partnership with the Armenian Poetry Project.
