LA-based Fugitive Studios Entertainment and Deem Communications in Yerevan signed a long-term partnership agreement to cultivate the entertainment industry in Armenia.
Now in its 31st year, the AGBU Ardavazt Theatre Company continued its mission of presenting Armenian-language productions to the greater Los Angeles community with ten performances of Yervant Odian's two-act comedy, Ser yev Dzidzagh (Love and Laughter) last November-December and four more planned in January and February.

The launching of the Krikor Satamian Theatre Company of the AGBU Buenos Aires Chapter occurred recently with the presentation of Hairus Ov Eh?, the Armenian version of Ray Cooney's comedy play It Runs in the Family, as translated by Krikor Satamian for the Ardavazt Theatre Company of Pasadena and adapted by director Silvia Kalfaian. Two other full-house performances followed, ensuring the company's successful debut.
Prominent Hollywood actors, directors, producers, and media representatives gathered at the “House of Armenia”, the new Los Angeles office of the Consulate General of the Republic of Armenia, for an end-of-the-year reception and surprise ceremony.

On December 3, the AGBU New York Special Events Committee (NYSEC), under the auspices of the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Armenia to the United Nations, hosted its fourth annual AGBU Performing Artists in Concert, which showcased the talents of yet another group of outstanding young Armenian musicians. The sold-out event was held at Carnegie Hall's Weill Recital Hall in midtown Manhattan.
